Institutional Accreditation
Lincoln Memorial University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist, and doctorate degrees. Lincoln Memorial University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The LMU-DCOM MS Program follows the SACSCOC accrediting standards. Professional College Accreditation
Lincoln Memorial University-College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) to offer an academic program leading to the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. The degree is conferred by the Board of Trustees of LMU on those candidates recommended by the faculty of LMU-DCOM. COCA is the only accrediting agency for predoctoral osteopathic medical education and is recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE).

Accreditation Grievances
Students wishing to file a complaint related to the accreditation standards and procedures should make these complaints in writing to the Associate Dean of Students who will forward the complaint to the Dean of LMU-DCOM. Forms are available on the LMU-DCOM website.
